Gisselquist Technology, LLC, is a service disabled, veteran owned, small business focused on offering services specializing in both embedded and FPGA solutions as well as digital signal processing solutions. We have but one employee, Dan Gisselquist (that’s me!). I have a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology, a Master’s of Science in Computer Engineering from the same, and two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Mathematics and the other in Computer Science, from the U.S. Air Force Academy. While I am not the greatest guru out there, I do take a particular joy in solving problems that others cannot solve, and I like to think of this as Gisselquist Technology’s niche.
Gisselquist Technology is founded upon a couple of values:
We are a Bible believing, Christian based company.
o We believe that Jesus is the Christ, and follow his teachings
o We are closed on Sundays
o We are committed to the truth (Matt 5:37). This includes not only the truth of God’s creation (Gen 1:27, Matt 19:4), but also the truth of how our performance compares against other systems when known. It also means we don’t hide our faults.
o I’d love to discuss the Bible with you, and the Gospel Jesus delivered
Debt free. Please don’t offer us a business loan, I get enough annoying phone calls as it is.
We create our own Open Source software, FPGA designs and design components.
o While almost all of our software and designs are available under the GPLv3 license, they may also be purchased under other licenses. Terms are negotiable. Both proprietary, LGPL, and MIT style licenses may be purchased, although LGPL and MIT license options will be more expensive.
o Most of our AXI work has been released under Apache 2.0. As such, it may be easily used with minimal legal encumberances.
